Tripod Media is a production company based in Los Angeles that specializes in documentary film. Tripod has multiple projects currently in development and production.

Ryan White is the director/producer of Ask Dr. Ruth, a Hulu/Magnolia film premiering at Sundance 2019. He is the director/executive producer of The Keepers, a 7-part Emmy-nominated documentary series now streaming on Netflix, and the director/producer of Serena, a year in the life of tennis legend Serena Williams, which premiered on Epix in June of 2016. White is the director/producer of The Case Against 8 (HBO), a behind-the-scenes look at the five-year battle to overturn Proposition 8. The film won the Directing Award at Sundance, was nominated for two Emmys, and was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary. White is also the director/producer of Good Ol’ Freda (Magnolia Pictures), which tells the story of the Beatles’ longtime secretary Freda Kelly, and Pelada (PBS, Cinetic), a journey around the world through the lens of pick-up soccer. His other credits include: Capitol Crimes (Bill Moyers, PBS); Dead Wrong: Inside an Intelligence Meltdown (CNN); 9/11: For the Record (Bill Moyers, PBS); and Country Boys (Frontline, PBS).

Jessica Hargrave is producer of Ask Dr. Ruth, executive producer of The Keepers, producer of Good Ol’ Freda, co-producer of The Case Against 8, and producer of marketing and distribution for Pelada. Hargrave was a longstanding correspondent for DailyCandy, a popular online lifestyle magazine, and has extensive industry experience at major entertainment companies including Live Nation and William Morris. Hargrave was selected to participate in the Impact Partners Producers Salon in 2016 and as an advisor at Sundance's Financing & Strategy Intensive for Independent Women Filmmakers in 2017.
